On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and constituent agencies of the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo, welcome to Buffalo and to our website where you will learn all about the Jewish Federation, our mission, what we do and how you can help.

Our Buffalo Federation seeks to bring Jewish people together, connected by our rich heritage, to strengthen our community’s local organizations, programs and services as well as the State of Israel and the universal Jewish family. We are a vibrant Jewish community with a wonderful family of Jewish organizations and synagogues.

Our Federation is a fundraising, community relations, advocacy and planning resource organization.  We are committed to the survival and enrichment of Jewish living and to the values of social justice, caring and compassion that transform lives and help heal the world.

Contributions raised through our annual campaign support local, national and overseas health, education and family welfare agencies.  The Federation also works to combat hate and anti-Semitism by supporting religious freedom, tolerance and human rights for everyone. Our many beneficiary agencies provide services and programs that touch the lives of Jews and non-Jews of all ages.

I urge you to be involved and participate in the activities of the Federation. We depend on the support of every single Jew in our community to keep Buffalo a vital and active Jewish home and to ensure a strong and dynamic community now and for the future.
